Blue IQ Smart Industry Expo
August 2003
News
The Blue IQ Smart Industry Expo is an international industrial and technology exhibition endorsed by the Gauteng provincial government. The exhibition is based on the format of the highly successful Hannover Industrial Trade Show.
In 2003, nine trade shows will be hosted, bringing together local and international industrialists in one meeting place on 22-24, October 2003, Sandton Convention Centre.
Special interest areas in the exhibition are:
* Bio-technology.
* Fluid power and air technology.
* Process control, automation and electronics.
* Information and communication technology (including industrial ICT interfacing).
* Logistics and supply chain management (including material handling).
* Machine tools.
* Energy technology and renewable energy.
* Electrical switchgear.
* Financial and auxiliary services.
R1 million promotion campaign
To ensure that all participating exhibitors meet with the people they need to know - that is buying decision makers of their specific products and services, a delegate promotional campaign is underway. Advertisements and/or ticket inserts will appear in relevant trade and industrial media between July and October 2003. All exhibitors will get visitor guides and free entry. Each exhibitor will receive 250 (more if requested) tickets to mail to their prospects and clients. There will be a 10-day campaign on two radio stations, and 1100 street posters (the maximum allowance) will be displayed.
The pavilions are attached but last year's visitors will remember them better by the following names Electrex, FluidTrans & Airtech, Mech H, Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Materials Handling held at Gallagher Estate in March 2002
