The TROLL is a reliable and cost effective device for measuring and recording quality of surface and ground water. The probe measures up to nine parameters simultaneously, giving the user a choice of dissolved oxygen, conductivity, temperature, pH, ORP, salinity, level, barometric, nitrate, chloride, ammonium, ammonia, or turbidity.
'Smart' sensor technology remembers calibration, which may be performed in the office prior to going out to make the measurement in the field. The 'Quick-Cal' solution offers a quick and simple and calibration process. The user places the TROLL in the solution and presses 'Calibrate'. One solution can be used to simultaneously calibrate dissolved oxygen, conductivity, pH and ORP sensors.
The TROLL has an internal data logger with 4 MB of memory on board that can store more than a million data points. No tools are required to access the two easy to replace batteries that power the device. This multiparameter sensor and logger is also supplied with PC-based software, which is used to download the logged data for display, analysis and archiving.
