Timecount offers a price competitive two or three channel passive DC signal isolator sourced from Rishabh Instruments in India, which manufactures under license for top European instrumentation developers.
The Rish TI807 range electrically isolates the analog DC signal 0-4-20 mA which is converted to a current or voltage signal (0-4-20 mA or 0-2-10 V). This prevents the transfer of interference voltages and currents and solves grounding problems in meshed signal networks. The unit operates passively and does not require a separate power supply, but derives the little auxiliary energy needed from the DC signal. This saves on wiring and makes the isolator easy to install on plants. The isolator performs its function with negligible transmission error, with an error limit <±0,1%.
