M&W Asketeknik’s ATD-2100 is an electrically operated servo valve for balancing the flow between fuel pipes in pulverised fuel combustion units.
It is flanged onto the fuel pipes and can be operated in remote or local mode. The ATD-2100 is extremely compact, fitting into the narrow space between fuel pipes, and is ideally suited for retrofitting.
Damper plates are easily accessible for inspection and service and are made of wear resistant material for long lasting service.
The automatic trimming damper is flanged into each pulverised fuel feeder pipe from the coal mills to the burners. The ATD-2100 has an electronic panel with pushbuttons for activating opening and closing movements of the two flaps. The panel has a digital display which shows the percentage of the opening.
The ATD-2100 can be integrated for automatic operation with the M&W ACFM-2200 automatic coal flow monitor for manual operation using the PFS or PFS-A pulverised fuel sampler.
