Due to the high cost and relatively scarce spare parts availability for the maintenance and repair of old displacer type level controllers, Kübler Africa has been replacing these instruments with standard products from its range.
Magnetic level sensors or switches are counter fitted to the existing level displacer chambers without any modifications needed from the end user. The flange specification, active range of the instrument, process variants etc. are all taken into account. Once all the data has been gathered a level transmitter/switch is manufactured.
Installation is simply removing the displacer section from its chamber and fitting the new unit to the same chamber. These units are available for IS (EEX ia) and explosion proof (EEX d) areas.
