SKF’s portable laser-based and wireless shaft alignment tool, Fixturlaser UPADXA, is worn on the users arm, leaving the hands to work in complete freedom. Small in size it can handle everything ranging from advanced shaft alignment applications to geometric measurements. The user interface guides the operator during the entire measurement and alignment process by using colour-coded measurement values, icons, and arrows. These units also have a touch screen, which makes it easier to navigate through the functions.”
The angled display box is equipped with a Velcro strap that keeps it in place on the user’s arm. The display box has a 90 mm screen with VGA resolution of 640 x 480 pixels. The screen is both backlit and trans-reflective to provide the best possible visibility in poor light conditions, as well as in strong sunlight.
