Comtest’s new agency Pico Technology visits SA

October 2016 News

Pico Technologies, a leading UK-based designer and manufacturer of affordable PC oscilloscopes and data loggers, recently sent two company representatives, Paul Allen, distribution sales manager, and Stuart Murlis, product specialist, to meet South African dealers and other stakeholders, at Comtest’s Linbro Park offices.

Allen commented, “Pico is a global market leader in PC-based oscilloscopes and we would like to become market leader here in southern Africa too. Our scopes are the modern, affordable alternative to traditional benchtop oscilloscopes. When technicians combine Pico’s versatile, individually programmable hardware with PicoScope 6 software, we believe we have a very attractive alternative to what is usually considered to be a large capital outlay.”

Comtest’s CEO, Barend Niemand added, “We welcome Pico’s range to our product basket, where it meets an education sector requirement. Pico’s PC-based oscilloscopes are a true cost saver for students, in these tough economic times.”
