Rockwell Automation has revealed the jury and prize for its new global ‘Best Future Machine Award’. Machines and solutions that enter the award – set up to recognise and reward engineering innovation and machine design at interpack 2017 – will come under the scrutiny of representatives from four leading international end-users and three major trade associations.
Representing the end-users will be Johnson & Johnson, Procter & Gamble, Kimberly Clark and Nestlé.
The trade associations judging alongside them will be represented by:
• UCIMA – Italian Packaging Machinery Manufacturers’ Association.
• GEPPIA – The French Food Industry Equipment Manufacturers Association.
• PMMI – The Association for Packaging and Processing Technologies.
Any company with a machine at the interpack 2017 show, which deploys Rockwell Automation products or solutions can enter. With these major worldwide end-users and industry associations on the judging panel, entering the award will give entrants a unique opportunity to discuss their technology and innovative approach and future direction with some of the industry’s most influential people.
The winner will be announced on 4 May 2017 at the public award ceremony at the Rockwell Automation booth at interpack 2017. The prize will be free flights and hotel accommodation to the Automation Fair event, 15-16 November 2017 at the George R. Brown Convention Centre in Houston, Texas.
