Powerful process and dialogue modules for operation and visualisation in mobile machines are gaining more value. ifm electronic now offers a device that fully meets these requirements, the PDM360 NG-12. This dialogue module has a high resolution modern 302 mm graphic display, powerful 32-bit controller, optimum readability and flexible programming.
Advanced optical bonding technology eliminates the clearance between front glass and display and so prevents interfering condensation. In addition, it improves readability of the display under different viewing angles. Protected by a scratch-resistant glass pane, the TFT display with a resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels ensures good visual detection, even with unfavourable sunlight conditions. It also provides backlit function keys and a navigation key with tactile feedback.
With a flat and fully sealed die-cast zinc housing with IP65 / IP67 protection rating, the PDM360 NG-12 is especially suitable for use outdoors and in cabins for surface or panel mounting. Furthermore, four CAN interfaces with CANopen and SAE J1939 protocol, an internal mass storage, USB interface and interfaces for analog cameras ensure universal and flexible use. The PDM360 NG-12 process and dialogue module is also available in a touchscreen version with a 300 mm colour display with 13 freely programmable backlit function keys and a navigation key with pushbutton.
