Moxa has introduced its first LTE cellular gateway – the OnCell G3470A-LTE. With galvanic isolation to fight against electromagnetic interference, wide operating temperature of between -30 to 70°C, and innovative GuaranLink technology for reliable connectivity, the OnCell G3470A-LTE ensures uninterrupted video streaming over LTE networks.
“For the transportation, oil and gas, cellular technologies have become the driving force behind remote monitoring systems to manage and monitor devices in real time. Thanks to the cellular standard evolution, LTE technology enables larger bandwidth and lower latency for remote monitoring systems,” said Sean Lin, Moxa product manager. “With the video data transmission demand increasing in industrial automation, LTE devices will be the perfect solution to fulfil the demand. However, big bandwidth support doesn’t guarantee seamless connectivity. The LTE device must be reliable enough for continuous video transmission and that’s the core value that the new OnCell G3470A-LTE delivers.”
To take advantage of the superior speed and performance that LTE offers, the OnCell G3470A-LTE includes both hardware and software reliability features to ensure seamless transmission and is suitable for remote video surveillance applications that require wireless transmission rates of up to 100 Mbps and wired Gigabit connections. Other features include:
• LTE technology with increased data rates of up to 100 Mbps and reduced network latency.
• Effective power and antenna isolation for device reliability and longevity.
• Innovative GuaranLink technology with 4-tier connection checks to ensure seamless connectivity.
• OnCell Central Manager V 2.0 to manage and monitor up to 2000 OnCell devices simultaneously.
