Wintec transit time sensors for ­Industrie 4.0 applications

Wenglor’s state-of-the-art range of WinTe transit time sensors is available with Ethernet’s Profinet, as well as with EtherCAT or EtherNet/IP protocols. The sensors can communicate actively and are identified individually by the system, thus fulfilling Industrie 4.0’s highest conformity level.

The range offers advanced intelligent communication capabilities and can be used in the automotive, electronics, woodworking, plastics, food and pharmaceutical industries, as well as in the fields of conveyor technology, logistics and machinery manufacture.

Reliable and accurate detection of black and glossy objects, even in extremely inclined positions, has been one of Wenglor’s core areas of expertise. This, coupled with the large working range of 0,1 to 10,1 metres, qualifies the product to perform efficiently in a wide variety of complex detection and measuring tasks required in modern automation systems.

An integrated Power-over-Ethernet interface reduces expensive wiring and the compact housing permits space-saving, easy installation. A built-in web server ensures worldwide access to all sensor functions, for example, to carry out location-independent diagnosis. The convenient plug and play functions, as well as the graphic OLED display, also maximise ease of use.
