Mitech has announced the opening of its Western Cape branch, which is based in Cape Town and responsible for its business in the Western Cape and Namibia.
Since inception in 1987, Mitech has been a leader in the South African valve manufacturing industry. Its commitment to excellence and quality is evident in the design and manufacture of the range of globe control valves, pneumatic actuators, valve positioners and severe service trims.
Mitech has identified the Western Cape and Namibia as growth areas that require a focused approach. With the recent designation of valves and actuators under the government’s PPPFA policy, Mitech is ideally placed to serve state-owned enterprises such as PetroSA, Eskom, Transnet and others. Mitech’s extensive range of valves and related equipment have a large installed base in the oil and gas, petrochemical, power generation, mining and metals and food and beverage industries worldwide. Growth in these industries in the Western Cape and Namibia will benefit from the company’s local design, engineering and manufacturing capabilities.
Craig Less has been appointed branch manager and is ready to offer customers complete control valve solutions.
