Dehn welcomes three new team members to help drive African expansion

June 2014 News

Dehn Protection South Africa has announced the appointment of three new associates as the company drives its African expansion strategy. Managing director Alexis Barwise says, “We have seen phenomenal growth since we were established in July 2013, with a rapidly expanding partner and client base. This success is thanks to the dedication of our team locally, and also to the support we have received from our German colleagues.”

In order to keep abreast of local demand and to continue the company’s strategy of expansion further into the continent, Dehn Protection South Africa has hired three new team members. Nicola Cheetham has joined the organisation as managerial assistant and Reuben Chuene has taken up the position of stock controller. French speaking Job Midiburo has come onboard as a junior sales engineer and will assist the organisation in francophone markets such as Mauritius, Rwanda and Burundi. A second sales engineer will still be added to the team in due course.

“Africa is an exciting investment and growth frontier, but in order to meet the demands of investors, it needs a solid infrastructure base that can underpin business development across the continent. Right now, the world is looking for alternative investment opportunities, but if investment in infrastructure projects is not prioritised, the continent may lose out.

“Dehn Protection South Africa’s focus in southern Africa has been on the local telecommunications, oil and gas, energy supply, transportation, mining and solar sectors, and the company has broadened its product and solution offering within the marketplace. We are ready for the exciting challenges in store,” concludes Barwise.
