Tectra Automation passes Rexroth technology audit
December 2012
News
Tectra Automation was the first company outside of German drive and control technology specialist, Bosch Rexroth, to pass its stringent ‘Technology Audit on Electric Drives and Controls’.
The three-day audit was conducted at Tectra’s Meadowdale premises by two international assessors from Bosch Rexroth’s German headquarters. A minimum pass rate of 80% is required in each of the seven criteria: organisation; goals; repair processes; spare part processes; field service; training processes and support processes.
“This accreditation confirms that the service and support we offer our customers conform to the high standards that Bosch Rexroth set for its distributors, it provides our customers with peace of mind,” explains Georg Venter, divisional manager, electric drive and controls, Tectra Automation.
The Hytec Group’s business management system, applied across all its subsidiaries including Tectra, ties in with the Group’s SANS accreditation and fits perfectly with the requirements from Bosch Rexroth.

“As Bosch Rexroth is regarded as a global benchmark for drive and control products, we are proud of this commendation and the two auditors’ finding that Tectra Automation conducts its business to international standards,” concludes Venter.
