Maintenance costs, which are traditionally grudge expenses for businesses or industrial operations, can be kept to a minimum by ensuring that maintenance crews are properly trained in key aspects of the condition monitoring process.

“The rate at which technology is advancing dictates that regular technical training is necessary for staff members to stay abreast of the latest techniques. We offer a choice of more than 15 courses covering a wide range of topics, from general oil analysis to thermography, transformer maintenance and many other reliability solutions services,” says Steven Lumley, technical manager at specialist condition monitoring company, WearCheck. These courses are presented by experienced WearCheck experts in each field, and most award valuable CPD points.

WearCheck has run oil analysis courses for over 20 years, and has been accredited to run Mobius courses since 2015. Its training material is constantly refined to ensure that the content is relevant, useful and accurate. The courses are targeted at different levels of maintenance crew members, from introductory right up to extremely scientific and technical.

WearCheck’s 2025 customer training courses include Mobius courses and oil analysis courses. Mobius courses lead to accredited certification for asset reliability practitioners, condition monitoring specialists, and precision maintenance technicians. They are presented at various venues throughout Africa. Courses can be presented online or on-site at a customer’s premises.

For more information on the Mobius courses, contact Louis Peacock at Wearcheck on +27 82 494 9461, [email protected], www.wearcheck.co.za/training/mobius-training.html
