June has been an incredible month for me! With a background in mechanical engineering, publishing is a whole new world for me and I basically had to hit the ground running. However, I am confident that under the capable guidance and watchful eye of Graeme, I will slowly but surely be handed the reins as editor.

I am so excited about this opportunity to be in a new career in publishing and to join the Technews family. I feel honoured to be entrusted with the responsibility of editing such a successful and industry-respected publication. It will be a great challenge to maintain the success of our market-leading publication at its current level as well as to grow our readership and revenue in the future. I am looking forward to a long, fulfilling and successful career at Technews, and I anticipate bringing you a publication that continues to be a respected source of information as well as being a fun and entertaining read.

There are many exciting plans in store for the publication and I look forward to introducing them to you in the future.

Besides our appreciation for the work of our editorial contributors and advertising sales team, Graeme and I would like to express our deepest thanks to the production team (Technique Design) for going beyond the call of duty to accommodate the tighter than usual deadlines in this July issue.
