NewElec has appointed Brighton Wanjelani as operations manager. Brighton's primary job function is to maintain correct manufacturing and procurement of equipment from sub-contractors, as well as maintaining the EN ISO 9001 procedures within the company.



Jacques Dutrieux has been appointed to fill the position of logistics and purchasing within the company.



Merwede van der Merwe has been appointed personal assistant for Shorrock Automation's managing director, and Gemma Schlaphoff has been appointed admin and orders clerk at the Port Elizabeth branch. Jason van der Merwe has been appointed as internal sales engineer at its Durban branch and Antony Hittler as sales engineer servicing the KwaZulu-Natal area.
