Lapp's eco-friendly catalogue

1 August 2010

The new main catalogue: ‘The World of Lapp’ contains over 1000 pages and an even more customer friendly arrangement that includes all the new products launched at the Hannover Fair. As part of the group's global environmental programme, the catalogue bears the FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) seal which means that only paper manufactured from FSC-certified wood has been used for printing. Chairman of Lapp Holding, Andreas Lapp said: “We want this to be a contribution to the protection of our forests and an acceptance of our ecological responsibility.”
The large selection is another unique feature. It is clearly laid out to enable customers to find the best products and systems for virtually any application. In addition to the main markets: mechanical and plant engineering and automation, measurement and control technology, there is also an extensive range for renewable energies. The catalogue also refers to numerous online services like: the web catalogue, e-Shop, the cable and connector finder and order tracking for just-in-time delivery, as example.
The Group says that the latest Best of the Best award shows how well Lapp Kabel combines its print and online offerings. A jury voted the 2009 main catalogue, ‘ÖLFLEX keeps the world moving’, the winner at this year’s INKA competition run by Tanner AG in the Cross-media catalogue category.
The new catalogue is available to all customers as usual – remember to request a copy.
